The subject is based new approaches and evidence of: epidemiology, pathophysiology and classification of the patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), besides pulmonar rehabilitation in terms of aerobic and strength exercise, inspiratory muscle traning, nutrition and use of supplementation, psychological aspects, follow-up and education in this population.
- Provide knowledge about advances in the investigation of pathophysiology, evaluation and in the process of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; - Identify and know how to classify the patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease; - Learning about functional assessments in COPD: when and why to perform them? - Know the scientific advances in pulmonary rehabilitation; - Understand about different therapeutic modalities of pulmonary rehabilitation;
